Virginia creeper is a native, fast-growing, perennial, woody vine that may climb or trail along the ground.  In the fall, the leaves turn bright red to maroon. The plant thrives in partial shade  to full sun.  It prefers acidic soils, and tolerates a variety of soil types.  The plant is also salt tolerant.

Virginia creeper can be aggressive and fatal to its shaded host.  Its berries are toxic to humans and can be fatal.  Its sap causes irritation to some peoples skin.

Virginia creeper is available only as a contract grow.
